PUBLISHING AND DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

As used in this Agreement, "Publisher" refers to Independent Authors Publications (a New Jersey limited liability company), and its employees, agents, representatives, partners, parent and related entities and imprints, licensees, successors and assigns; and "Author" refers to the person, persons or entity accepting this Agreement by signing below.

The following terms and conditions outline the agreement between the Author and Independent Authors Publications (the Publisher) to include your submitted work in the Anthology. Please read through the following terms and conditions carefully. Returning the agreement signed constitutes as an understanding and acceptance of the terms below.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Publisher will release an Anthology for sale which will include various written and/or visual works.
The Anthology will be sold in both electronic and physical format.

COPYRIGHT USAGE

Contributor grants publication of work by Publisher within the above listed Anthology only, to be sold worldwide.
Contributor agrees that the work submitted to Independent Authors Publications is their original creation, and is currently unpublished, and that they currently own all rights to this story.
Rights not specifically defined in this agreement are reserved by Contributor.
Attribution to the Contributor shall be found in front matter of the Anthology.

LIABILITY

Contributor represents that they hold the rights to their work, and that to best of the Contributor’s knowledge, the work does not contain any libelous material and is not in violation of any rights or privacy or any other rights of third persons and does not violate any existing common law or statutory copyrights.

MARKETING

Publisher will provide Contributor copies of the book as stipulated in the publishing agreement. Additional copies may be purchased directly from the Publisher for a 50% of the retail price.
Contributor grants publisher rights to publish parts of works in print or electronic form as promotional material for the Anthology.

ROYALTIES

No royalties will be paid for Contributor submission to this Anthology.

COMPLETE AGREEMENT

This agreement is the entire agreement of all parties.
